Strawberry Shortcake

i'm so glad others feel the same way i do! I loved the old strawberry so much, its crazy that they feel they have to update it.
 
My daughter has the beRABpread/curtains/pillows from my room displayed in her room right now. She rotates her room from Precious Moments to Holly Hobby to Carebears to now SS. I have to say that her room looks alot nicer with SS in it than mine did when I was a girl. That might have something to do with her clean room opposed to my old messy one :lol:.
 
Oh no they changed Strawberry Shortcake :eek: The old one is definately the best. I loved this so much when I was little.
 
I think that the classics are better left untouched too. Here is the difference...

How is Strawberry Shortcake different? They've also brought back Rainbow Bright, My Little Ponies, and Carebears. Have they changed how Rainbow Bright looks? Or did she stay the same? I think the Carebears have stayed the same and I'm guessing My Little Pony has stayed the same. I don't like the idea of cartoons, toys etc. from the 1980's being changed. The days of Strawberry Shortcake and others are to be admired not altered. Of course that's just my opinion. As you might have guessed I was a child in the '80's.
 
I have to agree too. I love the Classic Strawberry Shortcake much better :nod: Come to think of it, I love all the classics better than the updated versions :D

I got a rare opportunity to see some old episodes of strawberry shortcake recently and I realized. I don't like the way they changed her. She was perfect the way she was. Why do they have to change things?
