Strange sensation in ear?? Advice please....?

HI, well for a few weeks now it feels as though my ear is 'blocked' kind of. I wouldn't say blocked as I can hear from it. I can hear myself breathing loudly in my right ear, and when I speak i think I sound really loud and deep, so everyone moans that I'm talking too quietly, but to mean it is loud. It is really difficult to explain. My right ear kind of feels like its been underwater, but it doesn't go away. Sometimes when I wake up it isn't there, but I'm that used to it now that I'm not sure when it comes. It is really annoying me now and is making me uncomfortable. I am 34 weeks pregnant also, although I doubt it has anything to do with this. Does anybody have any idea? I should probably go to the doctors I know, which I will after the bank holiday if it doesn't change. Thanks

Sounds like it could be a build up of wax in your ear(s). Try getting a product from the chemist called "Earex" or "Ceremol". These are liquids that you use a dropper to put a few drops in each ear for up to 5 days . The idea is that the wax is dissolved and so wax comes out of ear .then you will hear again.
If you can't get even that then some olive oil in the ear for a few days could help
what we hear ourselves saying and what others actually hear us saying are two different matters.
Essentially we hear our voice louder because the sound produced in the larynx(voice box) travels through the bones in our head and into the ear. and so because of the shorter distance your voice has to travel to get to your ear then your own voice ;to you; sounds louder.
