Strange Request (W810i owners help!)

hey,

I cracked the screen on my w810i the other week, and while I wait for the phone insurance to sort itself out I have a temp phone, so I put my simcard in it and to my horror all my numbers were saved to the phones memory, so could some nice person out there tell me where to go on my w810i so I can change all my numbers from my phone memory to my simcard memory...

bear in mind I have cracked the screen so if you could please tell me how to get there ( across/down/left/right etc) that would be awesome

I've been watching your post for some time now and seeing as no one has offered any help, I may as well have a go ;) .

Please note this is navigating from a K750i, so the menus or controls may be wrong, but hopefully it'll work:

1) From your standby screen, click menu.
2) Scroll to your phonebook icon - I trust you remember where that is right (it's in the middle of the second row up on K750i)?
3) Click on that and press up 2 times to get to options. press select.
4) Press up once, so that it scrolls to the "advanced" tab at the bottom of the menu.
5) After clicking that, press down 5 times to get to the "copy to SIM" tab.
6) Click that and then click again (the copy all tab is first on the list).
7) it will then come up with a message saying "warning all SIM contacts will be replaced, copy anyway?"
8) Presuming you still want to continue, press yes (the left soft key).


That should do it as long as W810i is set out the same (if it isn't hopefully you could work around those steps). Good luck!
