strange problem with car amp?

i have a 2 chanel bridgable amp, when i run it to 2 seperate subs at the same time, its fine, when i bridge it to one, it pulses, like a heartbeat. the louder i turn the head unit, the quieter the pulses, when the headunit is turned all the way down, it is much worse.

wtf?
