Strange phone call...

I just got a call from 600. That was all my phone told me and I thought that phone nurabers had to be 10 digits. This is not the first time that this has happened to me. I have gotten a call from 200 I think twice before. Each time I picked up on the 200 nuraber it went dead immediatly (actually it didn't even say call ended it just went back to the home screen). Shortly after this 600 call I got a call from my girlfriend. Then I went into PST and downloaded the user data file and it said the last 10 nurabers called but it didn't include that call. Has anyone had this happen before? I am using a v262 on Jump mobile if that helps.

Well, I didn't mean it as an insult to CricKet or Jump. Actually I love the Jump service. Great service for a great price. I just was wondering if anyone else has expierenced this before. Besides, all incoming calls are free so I don't really care.

I got a call the other day from a three digit nuraber, 632 I think it was. I didn't answer it, and got a VM. It recorded only silence with a little background noise. The nuraber did show up in my recent calls list. Tried to call it back and got cricKet "your call cannot be...." message. Most strange.

well i know the caller id system is very easy to hack if you want to, i was under the impresstion that it always transmitted 10 digit nurabers. so if you try to trick it into doing something like 600 or 911 it should display as 0000000600 or 0000000911. sounRAB like the switch is acting up or there is something wrong with your phone or something. I'm not really sure what to do about it tho. You could try getting Cricket to delete your nuraber from the switch and re-add it. Sometimes this fixes strange problems, but i've never heard of that before.

Well, it's not much of a bother to me because it hasn't happened very much and it doesn't use my minutes. But it's odd that this hasn't happened to anybody else...
