I am just starting out in bmx, and i am torn between getting a bike with a detangler or just a straight cable for the rear brake. My dilemma is that i would like to be able to learn bars spins, etc. but i hear a lot of riders saying that a detangler is useless. I am looking on Danscomp.com at bikes that vary from $249.99 to $329.99. If anyone has any suggestions on bikes, or can explain in more detail the advantages and dis-advantages of having a detangler, it would be greatly appreciated.
