On average, my girlfriend and I had sex about 3 times a week.
However, we stopped having sex for about a week now. The first couple of days I thought nothing of it... maybe she just didn't want it or she was tired. But then she tells me that she wants to stop having sex until we're older because she's afraid she'll get pregnant.
We're both 18, by the way. And yes, we use protection (condoms). I know any type of birth control could go wrong, so I asked her if taking birth control pills while using condoms would make her feel more comfortable, and she said she isn't comfortable taking pills to prevent pregnancy.
I understand where she's coming from, because if she really did get pregnant, her family would kick her out (strict christian family), stop paying for her college and completely disown her. Although she could move in with me and I could take care of her, the thought of her "losing" her family like that is unbearable to the both of us.
I've been really trying to be an understanding, mature, boyfriend about this whole situation, but I can't help but feel like total crap. In a sense, I feel hurt... and even rejected in a way. And when I think about it, I can't help but feel angry/frustrated with her decision. What do I do?
