I enjoyed it. Quite sad/heartbreaking. I thought the cast was great! It was actually better than I expected so I wasn't disappointed.

I'm not sure, I was a little disappointed. I think I expected the storyline to be more than it was. I wish we'd seen some scenes with him in DC, or him at the place where all the other AWOL soldiers were gathered. I thought the movie was good though

Anyone else see it?

I saw the trailer for this too and was really interested.. I didnt know what the term is so looked it up and i too was shocked..

The cast agreed is great..Channing Tatum and Ryan Philipee are amazing, and enough of a reason for me to see the movie..

Also so glad that its Kimberly Peire whose directing, cause i love Boys Dont Cry and you know this film will be quality if shes directing...

As for war movies not doing well, im hopeful that this one will because its a subject matter that no war movie has ever covered before..plus it just looks like great entertainment, period.

I saw this trailer a while ago and have been waiting for it come out. I think it's going to be a great movie.

I went with a few friends the other night and the trailer for this movie came on. they were wondering what Stop Loss meant, so when I explained it to them they were shocked. they didn't even know that it actually occurred, nor that it was legal. I like it when people can learn things from movies, so I think it has the possibility to make people aware of certain things.

As to how receptive the movie will be- I really don't know. War movies have not really been doing well the past few months- I feel that people might not want that as an entertainment outlet right now. But I don't go into movies with political beliefs or anything, I like the educational.entertainment side of it all... :)

Hi Jessie.

I've been wanting to see this ever since I first heard about it. I love Joseph and Ryan and Channing too.

As far as how the movie will be received I'm not sure.

I've noticed pretty much every Hollywood war movie that has come out recently has had some type of anti-war sentiment.

Has anyone seen the trailer for this movie? Someone very close to me was stop lossed, so I am interested in how this movie will be. Anyone else have thoughts on how it will be taken in by the American public?
