stop flv from buffering?

in my browser, when watching video from internet - i don't like it then decided to stop it.
if I click the stop button in the flash player - but the buffering still continue,
even if I've exited the page which contain the video, it still keep on buffering.

any freeware that can stop that buffering - to save my internet quota ?

any respond will be greatly appreciated.
