stop charging mobile from Usb cable?

when I attach my device to PC it start charging however it's battery is full.then it start messaging "battery full" so is it harmfull for my device or not?
what am i doing to stop charging?
 
Nothing will happen,
Soon as though your phone can charge through usb, it probably has the knowledge not to over charge itself.

By the way when you think you have full battery it could actually be something like 98.99% So it jut filling up that little bit
