As of right now I feel as though I have some kind of motility disorder and possibly some severe gastritis.
If i go without eating for any period of time i hear a lot of rurabling in my abdomen and sometimes loud gurgles coming from the left side
after i hear this and feel it i become kind of nauseaus and gas starts forcing its way up my esophagus and into my throat and i belch continually only now its like my LES and UES don't work well because the gas almost comes out freely. usually these times happen when i haven't had a bowel movement or any significant movement in a while. the feeling i get is that all this gas should be coming out the other end, the constant pressure coming from my stomach tightens my neck and upper back muscles and fills my head with ear and sinus pressure to where i cant think or focus, this happens even worse if i try to relax my body(i guess because everything moves more freely)
the only relief i get from this is to constantly eat every couple of hours and sometimes large amounts, which at first is uncomfortable but after a while seems to "push" everything through, and i have some kind of bowel movement, i very often feel like i have to go but cant physically push anything out and very often i have diarrhea that comes out very slowly and incomplete, since this started i have yet to go to the bathroom and feel complete relief, i have also at times had larger movements that made me feel like maybe i have lost feeling in my colon.
could this possibly be a nerve impingement or problem where my bowels don't move on there own anymore, i feel like its strange the more I eat the more it seems to push everything down and through me to give me a small amount of comfort, this is how i know it is not completely in my head, if i take a few xanax and zone out and not eat for a little while, I don't feel better I feel much worse and all those symptoms are still there and i usually end up uncomfortable, I do understand my stress and anxiety make these symptoms much worse and i am doing as best i can to deal with that.
I also get pinching pains in my back and burning in the middle of my back between my shoulder blades when these symptoms are at they're worst. i was also doing extremely heavy lifting with a known left shoulder injury that weekend my whole left side and had my right over compensate for many years, i thought this may have caused some disc damage and possibly affected nerves that run my digestive system?
like many of you the Drs. think its all in my head but i think anyone can agree that living this way for many months can take a toll on your mental health especially when I already had issues to begin with. I need to figure out what tests i could possibly get and what direction i should pursue. I was supposed to do a barium swallow today but I read that if you don't eliminate the barium in a timely manner it can turn to concrete in your digestive system and cause a blockage, with things already moving extremely slow i didn't want to risk a possible life threatening complication.
