oh man my chronic stomach pains are back. i though maybe the PPI or domperidone were causing this but now i think that the PPI is just not working now or not strong enough as i have had four months or so with little or no sotmach pains and now its back. does anyone else have this

ache under sternum
stab pains that can go all over chest
sore lower back
pain in stoamch deep and aching and really bad!!! refers pain to other areas

I feel better after eating for a while, like it pushes down acid or something
however i have had a ph test and although it showed frequent eposodies of reflux it was only breif and therefore came under the normal ammount
I have LPR to

i think i have some kind of non functional despepsia, the PPI took the pain away thats why i was thinking acid!!!, maybe im overproducing acid?
i have anther PPI at home losec but it makes me dizzy, but i may have to try it and stop the prevacid to see if it is the PPI not working anymore. oh i feel really more gassy than normal to huge loud burbs...............

can anyone describe gass pains to me, is it lke above symptoms?
i wish i didn t have to try and figure this out myself doctors are hopeless!!

i dont have ulcers or hernias either as had tests for these..

1: Stop taking too many medications. They all go straight to the stomach and some of them try to come up. Also try not to eat too much. Have small regular meals throughout the day. Keep a diary of all the fooRAB you eat throughout the day and write down when the pains occur. This will help the doctor (if he can be bothered lol) figure out what could be causing the problem. Do you eat a lot of gluten or wheat??? A lot of patients I know can not have too much of these ingredients because their stomach can not tolerate it, even if it means they do not have an allergy to it. Also, be careful with pain killers, especially anti-histamines. They cause problems to the stomach and can make it much worse. If you do have acid reflux, you would be having a burning sensation as well. So I suggest stop taking your losec and the other medications you were prescribed because you may not be treating what you think you have. Like I said, speak with your doctor or see someone else for a second opinion. Goodluck =]
