Here is the story. I got kicked out of my brother's house because I didn't pay rent. My address was at a different address while I was living with my brother. What my brother did after I moved out was that he signed a contract online for a new iphone in my name. I already had an existing contract with att with a different number. He received the iphone and used it for a couple weeks. Now, att is charging me 170 dollars for the charges and they might cancel my existing line. My billing address at att was with my brother's address for 6 years with my old line but at Secretary of state, my address was at my sister's. If I file a police report, will they arrest my brother or can he just deny it? I have no proof against him except the fact that he received the iphone at his address and signed for it. Can he just tell the police that I came to visit my parents and took the iphone from him?
