She has never felt comfortable talking to Nate and that's not even me saying that, Serena
herself said that.
Side note while I am thinking about it:
Yes, she did said to Nate she
only went to Dan b/c she was mad at him for getting in the middle of her and her father (
clearly he wasn't sensitive to the need she had for him, enough to keep his nose out of it)....however she also told Nate she didn't kiss Dan that first time either, clearly she was lying to herself about what the night meant. She lied about a lot of things to Nate that day. And she was lying to herself.
Who does she always want to talk to before anybody else? DAN.
Who did she look for on those steps because he was a LAST resort? Nate.
"The one person I really wanted to talk to, I can't anymore." I guess Nate will have to do.
People are shocked because they see what they want to see, and make up stories in their heads that are not there. I can't feel bad for them, and I am not going to sit here and say I feel bad for people either.
Clearly I would not mean it.
 Why the need to keep asking "Right?"
Serena knew it meant something,
WE knew it meant something, AND the
writers intended it to mean something too.
You could choose to see it or not.
:thud:
Still can't get over it. I guess we will see more of that in the next season. They will
SHOW the story they want to tell.
