Stock messaging App and Handcent

Hi

I just got my 2.1 update on Eris. Now my stock messaging app and handcent both are working at the same time. I get a message in both of them every time I get a text. How do I shut off the stock messaging app

go to the settings in the stock app and remove notifications

So you know when you start Handcent for the first time and it pops up some instructions that tells you to turn notifications off in the standard messaging app, or you'll get double notifications, by going to Messaging -> Menu -> Settings, and unchecking Notifications... Did you do that?
