Stippling brush users, how to use with thick foundation?

Booyah!

I've invested in the MAC 187 (hooray for me!) Now I have a problem. My foundation Clinique Acne Solutions seems a tad thick and it's hard to stipple it on my face. Sure, I can stipple then swirl, but what's the point? I wouldnt have invested in a stippling brush if I had to swirl it to use it... How can I make my foundation more runny? What other hypoallergenic brands have good liquid foundation?

Almay and Neutrogena have great hypoallergenic foundations. For the stipple brush: put foundation in four globs on your face first. The forehead, chin, and cheeks. Then use your stippling brush to blend it in to the nose and out towards the hairline and down towards the chin. There are also plenty of youtube tutorials on this. Good luck! :)

You could add a little moisturizer to your foundation and it will thin out the consistency, but it will also give you alittle less coverage. I agree with the whole stipple and swirl. Congrats on your purchase! Also you should get the Sigma F80 brush if you don't have it. It is the most amazing brush in the world! Incredible for foundation. Sigma has a line of sigmax brushes in a set for $42 the same price as the 187. With the sigma set you get 3. You probably should have bought that but the 187 is a great brush too!(:
