I'm still waiting to hear from the neuros. office about the appt. he is making with the Dr. who specializes in the SI joints. I guess it will be a while..as he has to get an exception from my insurance company.
Yikes, the ins. company is not going to be happy with me...went to the ortho. dr. re: the knee....you are not going to believe this one. (I wrote about this problem on the knee page.) Sometimes you cannot win.
Hope you all have a good week. Take care.

Leslie

Sage, I hope in the end, this wait is worth it for you! Hoping he will get your insurance to approve this SI doc, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Now I must go read your post on the knee board......

You never know, sometimes the insurance companies surprise you. My company is notoriously difficult to work with, but they just approved my Cyrabalta with one phone call from my doctor without requiring me to try any of the less expensive meRAB first. My doctor and I were both very surprised! We both figured this one was going to be a battle and I might have to go off it (he went ahead and started me using samples) and jump through their hoops, but they gave it their stamp right away. I hope your company will come through for you. It does happen, especially if there isn't a good alternative.

Hang in there.

Oh Leslie, how awful! I read your other post but we had a huge thunder and lightening bold that snuck up on us and zapped our power. Now my computer isn't behaving!

I'm glad you got some answers though. Scary ones but treatable for the most part. That is somewhat exciting don't you think? Anyway, I will keep my toes crossed for you. ;)
