The Palm T|C also has WiFi and SanDisk has a WiFi card available for the Zire 71. SanDisk has not been able to develop a WiFi card for the T3 because Palm won't release the SDK needed for development. Supposedly, Palm is developing their own WiFi card for the T3 but it remains a rumor at this point. Just a guess on my part but I think OS5 WiFi development is dead. OS 6 machines, again only by rumor, will have at least two models with built-in WiFi and bluetooth. Given the precarious finacial situation for bothe PalmOne and PalmSource, it makes sense for them to steer people wanting WiFi and bluetooth toward new OS 6 machines instead of developing WiFi for OS 5. The profit margin is higher on a new machine and it's going to much easier to support connectivity on OS 6 than to try and back fit it to OS 5 machines.
