Still no WAP and MMS, even on a Cricket Flash?

I still do not have WAP and MMS, even on the Cricket V3c Flash! What the hell is wrong here? I've had WAP and MMS Confirmed by multiple cricket rep's...

When I try to access the web, it says:
Error: Cannot resolve hostname.

When I get a Picture Message, it comes up as a text message with the message, but has an error saying it is unable to download. And gives me a button to download... and it still doesn't work.

What the flippin hell is going on?
 
Uhm... No... Well maybe... I had the normal Plan with long distance and alla that good stuff... And then I called and had WAP Added...

What should I do?

Ok, looking at the plan I have. Its the 45 dolor plan with WAP Added... But not even picture messaging is working...And thats already on the plan..
 
Yeah i know dont add the wap it wont work. You HAVE to have the $50 plan for it all to work. At least in my experiance.
 
Uhm, My Plan COMES with the picture Messaging Feature automatically! Just not WAP. I have Cricket Choice. Its a 45 dolor plan that comes with Unlimited Local and long distance, Caller ID, VM, 3 way calling and free Text and Picture Messaging. And then I added WAP. I'm going to try and get ahold of them and make them change my actual PLAN to Cricket Connect which is what I'm paying for but not getting services to work... And I'm going to tell them for things not working, I want the 15 dollor charge that they made me pay for credited for my ESN Change. :devil:
 
Ok, I just got off the phone with a Cricket Rep... And he says that I do have the Cricket Connect plan. So I guess when I added the WAP... they just changed the actual Plan. Which its supposed to come with Unlimited 411... So I'll try the 411 when I get into town next...


So if this is so... why is my WAP and MMS Still not working?
 
ok first u need to check the settings on your phone with pst. if they are all alright u need to call cricket like ten times till it works to refresh ur features on ur account. most of the time when u switch from the old $45 plan to the $50 plan it gives us problems with wap and mms.
 
Picture messaging is included, but the feature code is not always on the account. if you are receiving a text message with a URL instead of an MMS then the Picture Messaging feature is not on your account and neeRAB to be added. This feature is for phones that do not support MMS, so their messages are not just lost and there is a way to retrieve the message. Call cricket and tell them that you are recieving a text with a URL instead of an MMS and to add the Picture Messaging feature to your account.
 
but once again, I haven't recieved that Text Message with the link to the Picture, for some time now! I recieve an MMS Message that is in an error. It wont download the picture. It gives an Error Unable to download. Once again.
 
Alright, I'm trying it all over again... from Scratch. New DL of all the files just incase something isn't working right or I screwed up some of the files... So its all fresh and I'll be in town tomorrow to try it all out!
 
Change your plan to the $50 plan and then have them refresh the account. Then redo the flash to the phone and run a *228 and it should work fine. I just flashed a 6700 and a Q today, had to get the guys to upgrade their plans to the $50 and then everything worked perfect.
 
Once again, I am already on the 50 dolor plan! Cricket Connect is what its called. It has unlimited 411, WAP and MMS and alla that good stuff. So there is nothing to change on my account. And I have been having them refresh my account constantly.
 
Ok did u have the 45 plan before. If u did then u need to call cricket and tell them to refresh ur features. I've seen this problem a lot when people upgrade from 45 plan. U need to bug them like three time. Also try re-monster flashing ur phone and check all ur settings using pst phone programer. Make shure u check those settings because sometimes they don't change so u need to change them. Trust me that should make ur phone.
 
I'm sorry... I'm not trying to be a ****, but have you read this thread at all? I've already stated that yes I had the 45 dolor plan, and I upgraded to the 50 dolor plan. I thought I only added WAP but they actually upgraded the entire plan. And I have refreshed my account features 200000000000000000 times! Soo much that I am not allowed to talk to cricket reps until next pay period...Also I do monster flash's once every other day at the least!

I have been working on this for quite a while now, starting back from my PPC6700. I have flashed, flashed, reflashed, reflashed some more and flashed again and I have called cricket TS (since CS can't do it) refresh my account soo many times, that I have hit my quota for monthly calls! :buddies:

I have called soo many times, I have the TS reps accents down by heart!
 
im sorry i dont want to to be rude, but i have read your entire post and like i said before sometimes when u upgrade from the 45 to 50 all the stuff dnt work right. but hey dnt take my advice ima keep flashing the way i do it cause i know no matter what it alays fully works.

It has to be the f'n phone! I'm about to throw it! A Verizon V3m on the Alltel V3m Firmware with all the cricket crap thats in the other thread.

I flash, I keep flashing, I keep flashing on top of the flashing and then I double check all my work with more flashing... I do settings... and dont get me started on how many times I have spoke to cricket and had them refresh the account. I do atleast 4-5 times a day. I can't get ahold of cricket the normal way because I called too many times. I have to act like I'm starting a new account, give faulse info and then tell the rep what I need to do and they transfer me to TS... and they said that the account is refreshed and to turn off the phone, take out the battery for a few seconRAB or more and put it back in, turn it on and *228 the phone!

So it has to be the phone... When I get a pix message, it doesn't come in as the text message with the internet link. It comes in as an MMS but says "Error Downloading". When I try sending it fails. When I try WAP, it says Cannot Resolve Host Name.....................
