Why has this not been addressed yet by the Administration? Are they trying to make this spill "as bad as possible" so they can use it to push a green agenda?

So why are we doing anything if there's gonna be shit all over the place no matter what?

Can I assume that you are also saying that we did in fact turn down offers from foreign nations to help by sending equipment

So you're pretty much saying that nothing could have been done to prevent the oil from reaching shore so there was no point in trying to stop it...until now.

I don't want to hear you say anything about BP not doing enough to contain anything ever again.
 
You DO realize that this is going to go on for months and months right? We can use the help now and a month from now and 2 months from now and even 6 months from now.
So instead of trying like hell to defend the inactions of your messiah, pull your head out of your ass now and use it.

We are going to have oil on the shores needing to be cleaned up as well as on and under the surface...as well as help trying to cap the well head and the other cracks along the pipe that we are just now finding out about.

So it would be a great idea to get as much help as possible and when you have other countries with specific equipment and experience in just this sort of thing, you USE IT.


You have pretty much just demonstrated that it doesn't matter what the fuck is going on, you're first reaction is to defend the administration at all costs.

I really think Obama is doing whatever he can now to take BP down as much as possible so he can say he kicked someone's ass come election time.

Truthfully though, I don't know why. They say there are foreign flagged ships down there, but I haven't heard of any. I don't know why he took so long to respond - even then only because people were saying he was being soft on the response. And I don't know why he does half the things he does. At this point it's just ridiculous to try and figure out.

Yes, I do believe Obama and his masters are making this as big a crisis as possible, so they can "save the world" with this "green economy" crap they're going to push.

If you thought taking your shoes off at the airport after 9/11 was a big bother, try mowing your lawn with a battery powered mower.
 
thats easy cuz I never said anything like that..

My beef with BP has nothing to do with containment..they caused the leak by cutting corners. THATS the crux of the problem...everything else is playing catch up.



1. its been a little over 2 months. stop being over dramatic.

2. I never said we should not use foreign help. The issue was foreign help was turned down weeks ago and I explained why that would be.

3.I'm not defending the govt on this.They fucked up by allowing BP to operate in such a manner.They clearly didn't handle this situation aggressively enough from the get goObama's getting panned (and rightly so) now for taking to long to do what he's doing now.HAd he done all of this by week 2 things would be different in terms of his personal involvement and the perception thereof.I've said all this before you guys just ignored it.
