Still drilling!

I realized yesterday that I had not completely followed the instructions for drilling the pipes on my bike. I had not drilled the inner most plate or baffle. So, today I completed the suggested procedure and drilled the plate thats about a foot down the pipe and what a suprise I got when I hit the starter. It sounded amazing. I could not believe 1 hole in 1 plate could make that much difference in sound. So, there was no way in h@#$ I was going to shut her down without going for a ride,(even though its like 38 degrees outside). I was amazed once again at the increase in mid range torque, so much that I almost killed myself making a right turn from a dead stop. More pep, qiucker throttle response, higher shifting, I'm extremely happy with my investment in a good drill and a 1/2" installers bit. I am however going to have a bit more respect for the power in the future. It seems very easy to get wrapped up in the sound of some awesome pipes. I believe it was Dr. Bob who sent me the link for the drilling instructions, Thanks Dr. Bob, you saved me about three bills in after market pipes.
