Still don't know what's wrong with me!! (long)

So about 3 weeks ago, I started feeling really run down, headaches, weakness, dizziness, ear pain, jaw pain, ears ringing. At first I thought I had allergies or a sinus infection. But the symptoms that made me make an appt was bruising more easily than normal. And for a few days my leg muscles hurt from my hips to my toes, and when I moved my toes they would burn. Felt like if you go outside in the snow without gloves on and your hands get frozen and then when you come in they get really hot. But it was my feet. My muscles in my legs ached like I had just run a marathon. But I'm a stay at home mom and quite honestly, I don't do all that much except laundry and light chores. I've never felt anything like it. At night especially, I get really warm, mostly in my face, and I feel like I should have a fever, but I don't. My temp hasn't gone higher than 99.3. My memory is shot. I often will stop in the middle of a sentence because I can't think of the right word. I'm tired, but not necessarily sleepy, more like a weakness. My body feels weak. I've had heart palpitations. I've had them since I was a teenager, and had them when I was pregnant because I was dehydrated. I've been drinking tons of water and only have 1 caffeinated beverage per week, if any at all.
I am breastfeeding and the first thing I thought was that I was anemic, because of the bruising. Then with the other symptoms, I suspected thyroid issues, and I actually posted in both those forums also. Those were the two things my doctor suspected. She also thought maybe my sugar was high because I did have gestational diabetes, but I had a follow up glucose tolerance test a month ago at my OB and it was fine.
My dr ran a CBC, TSH and what she called a "metabolic test that would check for kidney function and glucose levels" the drs medical assistant called this morning and saidy tests were normal!!! My glucose was slightly elevated but I had eaten breakfast before I went in. I said well if they're normal, what's wrong with me. She said I don't know hun.
The only thing I can think is that I did start taking my prenatal again about a week before my dr appt. I have noticed the fatigue is better, and the achy legs, but I'm still finding bruises here and there. Would a week of prenatals have put my iron levels back to normal so that my tests were normal? I'm sorry this is so long, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything! Thanks for reading.

That is possible, and I'd imagine it would take some time of taking the vitamins to get rid of the symptoms you feel, yet it could affect the tests. I'd also give the vitamins a bit more time to see if they continue to help you.

It's unfortunate when doctors can't give you an exact answer. I know I get some of the similar symptoms and never get rid of them completely and it's frustrating. Another thing I've heard of as a possibility is mono. I'm not sure if you have looked into this. I know a few people who had mono and felt very weak and achy, yet they didn't have a high fever and didn't even realize they were sick. They just mostly felt worn out.

Do you think it may be a combination of different things? If no particular sickness, maybe it is a deficiency in certain vitamins and nutrients AND allergy issues. That would pretty much cover all of the symptoms! With this, it would take some time and experimenting to figure out the best way to help with them. Taking the vitamins can help, and maybe look into some regular allergy medication. My sinuses regularly feel quite blocked up and it makes me feel pretty wiped out and dizzy, so taking a decongestant or something to clear them out helps me feel more alert.

Good luck! I hope you are able to feel better soon :)

Yea it sounds like it could be a combo of different things, like allergies, lack of sleep, low on vitamins...etc...expecially since you have been having all the tests run and the are coming back normal. Thank God for that! Try not to worry. Stress does give us alot of bad symptoms. It does to me. It's amazing how bad you can feel from underlying worry. Try to put your mind at ease.
Happy thoughts! Hugs!

Thank you tedds83!
Yeah indefinitely glad the tests came back normal. Just confused as to what caused it. Like I said though, I've felt much better since taking my prenatals.
