Hello everyone!
I have had problems in the past with my back but it was always just usually muscle spasms.
Well for the last 2 1/2 weeks I have been in pain and so frustrated!
Honestly I have had this happen before but it had never lasted this long but used to get better after a few days.
O.K here is my problem, I have such awful stiffness in my lower back.
Feels like just above the tailbone to between where the hips begin.
It doesn't feel like its actually my spine, seems like its more in the muscles or tendons on each side of my spine or something.
Well this stiffness has been CONSTANT for over 2 weeks now and its worse when I sit.
If I do not sit in a semi reclined position but instead sit straight up I seem to feel this intense pressure but at the same time feels like a painful stretch!
You know how it feels when you overstretch something? Like imagine trying to do the splits and then you get the painful, pulling, stretching, burn type feeling?
Well that's how it feels but an intense pressure at the same time and at times it feels like my back wants to crack in half or something.
I know this description sounRAB strange but this is the only way I can try to get the feeling across.
Also after sitting for a while, even if it is a short time, than getting up is horrible!!
I need to very slowly get out of my seat and so slowly straighten my back out.
Rising after lying down isn't so bad.
Bending over to try to pick anything up is miserable and very painful BUT most times cannot be avoided as I have an 8 month old baby who is crawling and constantly neeRAB attention.
So when I do get up from sitting or bending over I usually need to hold on to something to help raise up and straighten as it is too painful to try it without support.
I am only 33 yrs old and I also have a bunch of other neurological health issues but I do not know if this could be related or not.
I have never injured my back in any way that I know of, do not have arthiritis or any other known bone conditions.
Anyone know what this could be and/or what could be causing this pain?
Please advise!!
Thanx to all in advance.
