sticky phlegm

Ok, first let me say that "yes" I am a smoker..I have horrible sticky phlegm stuck just above my diaphragm and am constantly trying to clear it out by for no better choice of words, clearing my throat(doesn't quite describe it but the best I can come up with), and sometimes coughing..actually my hubby calls it my "Ahems" and it drives him and me crazy, not to mention the fact that sometimes it brings on wheezing...please...ANYONE??????

Stop smoking. Create a desire to stop smoking and you will be able to overcome the addiction, enjoy better health, save boo-koodles of money.

Drink more water to keep body hydrated.

Take Mucinex to keep phlegm thinned and easier to get rid of.

Zyrtec would help allergy from whatever is in the air now.

I have a daughter that drives me up the wall, I feel sorry for your husband!!
