I used to be a great fan of his movies I still love watching The man with two brains , Planes, Trains & Automobiles, 3 Amigos and Parenthood but lately he has started to do more remakes. At the moment he is remaking Pink Panther which I think would be very hard for any actor to do. Every remake he has done in my opinion was never as good as the original.

I wish he would go back to using his talent in creating new comedy films, his early movies have proven that he is very talented and funny.

I'll never forgive him for Bilko. There's only one Bilko Mr Martin, you oaf. I bet Phil Silvers and Sellers are turning in their graves.

Agree about the no no Bilko & Pink Panther. Have to give a mention to The Jerk though. "I was born a poor black child" Genius!!!

even stuff like *grand canyon* and *la story* i really liked, but he hasn't really done anything in years unfortunately.

I suppose you can't count the Queen Latifah movie and that one with Ashton Kutcher and those anoying kiRAB. Novacaine was supposed to be a wierd movie but haven't seen it so can't really comment.

Bowfinger was 5 years ago now and was unfortunately the last good thing either Steve Martin or Eddie Murphy have been in.

I watched The Lonely Guy the other day, and that's very funny in places. Depressed me though

LA story is a great film.

I like Steve martin but him playing IC is a no no!! There is only one IC and that is PETER SELLERS !!!
