I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500, when i bought it, a Sony Xplod radio was installed and i replaced it with a Jensen DVD Player. For about a month, everything worked perfectly (all speakers, tweeters, and sub woofers). I turned the subwoofers off before i installed Dynamat on all four door speakers. After i finished, i tested the speakers and when the bass hit, all the speakers sounded staticy and then i didn't hear any sound coming from any of them. I turned the subwoofers on and they sounded perfect, without the door speakers working, only the sound of the bass. I have a warranty on the head unit so i can return it if needed. I just don't understand why it would work at first and then after installed dynamat, everything wouldn't work after a couple seconds of play.
