Stereo Mix stopped working with Audacity?

I used to be able to use Audacity to record what I hear using Stereo Mix. Up until recently there were no problems. Then one morning I came in and whenever I tried to record something it would act as if nothing was playing, just silence. I've checked and rechecked to make sure everything is configured right in both Audacity and the Sound settings for my computer and everything is as it was/correct for recording what I hear.

I thought maybe Audacity was screwing up but then I downloaded another Record what you hear program and the same thing happened, only silence was being recorded.

I can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
The exact same thing just happened to me!

If anyone finds a fix, please email me at the yahoo that ends in dot co dot uk, where the at is preceded by "ddlyheadshot" (written this way to fox spammers).
