Steps to getting into a good university? (mini-rant included)?

Okay, this isn't even funny anymore. I ask 2 serious questions and they both get deleted. I need some damn help!!

So in my previous 2 questions, I was asking if an 88% average was good or if I should try to improve it. My friends/peers keep calling me a nerd but I still don't think it's good enough. Your thoughts?

BTW (for the 3rd time): I'm a freshman
How are they chat questions? They were the same as this one, except they had different titles.
B average? In my school, it's an A.
I wanted other teens' opinions, that why it's in this category.

taking challenging courses
getting good grades: 85 and above is considered good but in the 90s is even better
getting good SAT scores
participating in extracurriculars

Yes, you can get into a good university with a B average. Not a great university, however, unless you have fab scores on your SAT.

If you can't get into the university of your choice, attend another place in your freshman year and apply to transfer. For a transfer, the university only looks at your college scores. That is how several of my college buddies got into prestigious schools.

An 88% average is good but also check on your academic activities. That means clubs, sports, plays, anything like that is also good because it shows you have pride in your school.

i hope you're appealing for you questions to be reposted. you're questions are perfectly fine.

i think an 88% is good. considering you're a freshman you have time to build that up. ignore your peers. you'll be the one laughing when you get accepted into your top universities/colleges.
