Stephen Kings IT

I actually got a copy of the dvd purely by accident, on holiday in Turkey, and it must be out for region 2 as the copy I own works on my dvd player, which isn't multi-region. I think the movie is really good, the start of it is creepy as, and I don't generally tend to have a fear of clowns. I haven't read the book but so want to as I love the movie so am sure the book will be far superior, as is the case in general with Stephen King's stuff, Christine, was an example of a huge let down, when it was transferred to movie, IMO. The Shining on the otherhand, a masterpiece in novel and movie form, ditto for Misery, Kathy Bates is excelent.

P.S. I saw "Needful Things" scheduled for around 2am on sci-fi channel the other morning but didn't get a chance to see it, anyone know if it's likely to be repeated, as I love the book?

"Steven21" I know exactly what you mean!! I liked clown untill I watched this film!! im 22 and they still give me the creeps!! My advise is to get the film I loved it....
"They all float down here billy......."

as far as i can re-call i have always been afraid of clowns, even before it. where i live there is normally a clown in the shopping centre who makes balloon animals for the kiRAB, you should see me walking past this area, i bump into soo many people so i avoid seeing the clown. i am shaking just thinking of it.

I swear I saw this listed on Digiguide for the 9th of Spetember, but when I was looking this evening, it's no longer showing in the listings.

Anyone know where it's gone?

It's avalible in Reg 2, imported from Holland. The box is written in dutch but the movie is in English and includes a commentry with a few of the cast. It's on ebay and you'd be looking at about 10 quid buy it now price.

I've never read the book, I only bought it as a huge Tim Curry Obsessive...ops i mean 'fan'. Gotta admit, it is crap....seemed to drag on for hours, pissing about with all the kiRAB life stories, before it got to the main bit type thing.

Kiss me fat boy!
