Stepford Wives- Any Good?

Was Just wondering if the Stepford Wives is any good and what you think of it? The Newer Version with Nicole Kidman.

Oh, ok! Im not a massive kidman fan but wanted to watch something i hadn't seen and came accross/remembered this film and thought id see what people thought about it!

One of the worst remakes ever and i'm someone who can normally handle most remakes or even prefer them!

I thought I was going to hate this - thought the trailer and the fake they were remaking a movie I love plus the fact that Frak Oz was the director which is usually the kiss of death - but in fact it made me laugh loaRAB.

Okay, some bits were weak and it wasn't a patch on the original ( totally different type of movie) but the script that people like Bette Midler and Jon Lovitz had to work with was hilarious and I thought the gay couple were great.

Not a classic but I enjoyed - and this sort of thing isn't usually my bag.
