I saw the trailer and it looks awesome, I love dance movie. Of course Channing is so :thud:

The whole Skinny thing to me, also reminded me of that little boy from Hardball who died.

Just saw it today, and being it my first dance movie, I absolutely adored it to pieces. :love:
 
You know what, I actually didn't think he'd dance. Not because he doesn't seem like the type... I don't know, I just didn't. And duude, he's got moves!

Some of you are probably right about the whole 'same-plot' movie and all, but who knows if it turns out different? And if it doesn't, heck... we can still see Channing. ;)

I am so excited for this movie. I've been waiting for a thread on this forum. I absolutely love Channing Tatum and the dancing in this movie looks great. I can't wait for August 11th. Thanks for posting the pics and the trailer! =)

Just saw the movie last night. I thought it was pretty cheesy during most of it and some of the actors were really fake. Not the main actors they were fine, but like the jerky boyfriend and some of the others from the arts school weren't very good. Is it bad that I had a hard time taking the movie seriously? I think I was supposed to, but I just couldn't. It reminded me a lot of save the last dance but with more 'life on the street' feeling. That was a really bad explanation. Oh well. The dance sequences were really awesome though. I have no idea how people can do a lot of those moves. The end dance was definitely the best. Overall, the movie was fun to watch. Not a classic by any means. But I would watch it again like with a group of people just hanging out or something.
 
this movie reminds me of Save the Last Dance, i loved that movie and love this movie. That movie had a great soundtrack and so does this movie.
