The movie was OK. It had it's moment. The dancing was great...but, that was to be expected. The story was a little lop-sided, though. It took a while for it to get to the point...but, once it did, it fell into the same trap as all dance movies. The movie reminded me of "Save the Last Dance" in blending genres together...and fighting for something you believe in. I knew Skinny's fate when they first introduced him...I figured he would be the symbol for change...he had to go for his brother to realize his lifestyle is far from healthy. The end dance was fantastic...but, again...this was expected. The movie was fun...but, the reviews that "once in a time, does a movie define a generation"...gimme a break!
