I chencked my power steering fluid yesterday and it was blackish. So I had it changed at a shop today. After it was done, the car makes a whining noise whenever the steering wheel was turned. This noise was not present before. The mechanic said that this is normal and he said that after I use it for a while, it will go away. I drove it, and it seemed that it is more noisy at lower speeds. Is this normal after a power steering fluid change? (Its a 98 ford taurus if it makes any difference)
