What's considered a better frame? Steel or Aluminum? I was looking at 2 bikes: A Raleigh Mojave 3.0 and a Trek 820. The Trek has a steel frame and the Raleigh has an aluminim frame. I would like to use these bikes for mainly road but also some off-road use. I figure aluminum is lighter which is better but steel is probably more sturdy for more off-roading. Does anyone have any other comments about these 2 bikes? Thanks.
