Stealing Vista keys

Anyone ever done this? By going into a store (Circ City, Best Buy, Staples, etc.) that has Vista installed and running a program like Belarc Advisor off a thumb drive, saving the Belarc page onto the thumb drive, and taking off with their Vista CD key? You guys are nuts if you have....

No, not really.. you can reactivate. The fun part you pirates will have is that the VLK keys for Vista will still require an activation and the old XP version of "have VLK and you're good" is no longer going to work.

Cause MS might fix the holes in a service pack, like they did on XP, and then you have to reinstall.

And MS doesn't appear to bother giving a shit how many times you activate the same key. At least up to a couple dozen times (disclaimer: I am not the person who tried this).

scary stuff to get into. i have never tried stealing keys physically. might actually be easier than the other shit if you have the stones. i shall report back if i feel like trying this later.

What the hell? I have Vista on my new laptop which I use strictly for school work, and I've installed PLENTY of programs on it with no issues at all. I have Office XP Pro, Photoshop, IrfanView, Mathcad, etc., none of which have had any issues.

In general.... yeah. It's more of a problem with video drivers than anything else, once those are more solid games will play just as well if not better on Vista.
