Hi, first of all i'm a gay male. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to hookup with this guy that I really don't know. We didn't have a condom (I was "top"), and although he said he was disease free and everything, I have little reason to actually believe that (although I really really hope I can). I'm now freaking out and want to get tested for everything a.s.a.p. (I was an idiot not exactly thinking with my head at the time) What I'm wondering, though, is if it takes any certain amount of time for something to show up in a test. For instance, if I did this last night and got tested the next day would anything show up...or should I wait a couple of weeks.
