Stay with T-Mobile (and purchase MDA) or switch to another carrier?

I'm in the market for a PDA phone with wi-fi and bluetooth. My contract with T-Mobile expires in 4 days so I have the option to switch carriers as well. I'm currently on the 3000 anytime minutes for $49.99 plan which with additional text messages and taxes comes to around $63/mo. I've read alot of reviews and they seem to be mixed. The processor seems awefully slow for a phone this new. I've seen Sprint's 6700 but it's not as compact and their rate plans aren't as good. However, if it's a better phone with more "neat" features I'd be willing to budge on the plan. What would you guys do? Are there any phones on the verge of release that I should wait for? I can only spend $300 MAX. T-Mobile's service is fine with me but I HATE how inflexible they are when it comes to taking care of their customers.

I have similar problem. Contract has expired and I want to stay with Tmobile and I am willing to sign 2 year extention, but they will not give me access to many of the phone and prices and promotions new customers get at TMobile.com. Number of phone available for "upgrade" is limited.

I've got the Cingular 8125, which is the same thing as the MDA. I also thought that the 200MHz processor was a little weak for the job, but, as usual, MHz isn't the entire story. The OMAP processor has two cores. One is the CPU like you'd expect and the other handles all of the DSP duties, so the unit performs much better than you'd expect. I went from a Palm LifeDrive to the 8125 and I don't have any regrets. In fact, the 8125 is quite a bit snappier because there is no hard drive latency. The only complaints that I have about the phone is that the reception is not quite as good as other cell phones that I've owned and the battery charge doesn't last as long as I'd like (but I said the same thing about the Palm PDA, too, so that's a wash to me).

If TMobile isn't going to work with you, maybe switch to Cingular? Or wait a bit, because I think that the 8525 is coming to Cingular "soon" - I'm not sure on the price, but it might be worth a look.
