Stay at home mom debating on baby sitting kids for some extra income?

Im a stay at home mom we currently are living off of my husbands income. Im debating on watching other children during the day. What fo yall think about this
 
Try it! If you can handle it than go for it. I know when I ave my baby i would prefer taking my child to someones house where they have kids than to a daycare and my mom use to do this under the table years ago and made 250 a week off one lady and 350 off another. There is good money to be made just for babysitting one child! daycare costs now are through the roof. but make sure you are not doing it as a business just under the table or you need licenses and all the bull that goes with it like insurance!
 
There is a shortage of child care, so it is a great idea. The thing is, you have to know yourself and what you can tolerate. I couldn't stand taking care of a bunch of kids, so for several years, I took care of two kids from one family. He was a single Dad who worked for the Sheriff's department, usually 3rd shift, so I usually had them overnight and during odd times when he had to go in. Worked great for me.
 
I thought it would be good to for me since I am at home with my daughter, but it ended up being hell. I was really doing a favor for the mom but took on alot more than I wanted. It was not worth my time my husband made in an hour what I made all day and it always made me moody after watching this bad child. My husband hated it and so did I. Thank goodness they got help with social services and I dont have to do it anymore. I was miserable. Just beware of the responsibility you are taking on.
