Statistics on environmental problems?

Hey can someone point me in the direction of finding statistics on environmental problems like....
over-fishing, poaching, water conservation, chemical dumping, oil spills, deforestation, desertification, air quality, automobile exhaust, coral bleaching, and trash/waste in the ocean?
i'm doing a science project and have been trying to find statistics on these things. no such luck.

i recommend "An inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore

ive never read it
i don't like him Very much

but the ppl that have read it told me it was great

and they show me it sometimes

its basically a picture book with 90000000000 facts
