An experiment using 0.5 grams of fresh garlic and crushed garlic root, leaf and bulb from garlic cloves sprouted for two days was performed. This garlic was used in a bioassay on lettuce seedlings to see if growth of the lettuce seedlings was inhibited compared to a control. data recorded was seedling length in milimetres.
