So I heard about this effort to create a union for Station Casino's employees this morning on the radio.

I was dumbfounded by what I heard from the employee interviewed. She was saying that she's saddened by the layoffs and thinks that the company should unionize to help it's employees.

The company is on the verge a bankruptcy. It has to shed employees and reorganize. What good will a union do to help any of this?

If they do Unionize, the employees, as a Union, will have a place at the bankruptcy table.

Basically, it does NOTHING to save the company, it just fills their pockets.

It will fill the unions pockets but what benefit will other employees have besides a smaller paycheck?

how the hell can a casino go bankrupt? It's like an arcade, but with 1e+20 high profit margin!

Station Casinos runs most of the local favorites like Green Valley ranch and a few others.

They don't really have casinos on the Strip.
