Starting Problems Honda Civic 2006?

Lately my car has had an intermittent starting issue. Sometimes if I turn off the engine (even for less than a minute) with my lights on my battery appears dead when I try to restart. It wont even try to turn over, but if I turn the lights or other electrical item off, it starts no bother as though the battery was 100%. The battery indicator shows that the battery condition is fine. Is it the battery or loose connection do you think?
Unsure if connected but since the car was new I have occasionally noticed the lights dim for a split second whilst driving.
Thanks
Oh! forgot to say, the weather, either hot or cold, dry or wet doesn't seem to be a factor.

right battery?? ------- .... - altenator .. loose connections or + wire . when fan turns on lights might dim a little. A/C might be on also. low battery

Well that's a bazaar problem!

It sound like the battery isn't giving out enough amp's, so when the lights are on, its not leaving the battery with enough amps to power the starter motor.
What you need to do is go to somewhere like halfords that will check the battery for free and they will be able to detect how many amp's its giving out and if it needs replacing or not. Its worth a try anyway.
Hope this helps
Andy
