I have ridden horses for 6 years and have owned horses for 3 years, so I know ALOT about them and how to care for them.

I wanted to start my own business of adopting or rescuing OTTB's and retraining them and then selling them to good homes. I plan to do some ground work and then let my trainer ride them and work with them, and then me teach them how to jump, dressage, western..ect.

Does this sound like a good business?? I already own a OTTB of my own, so I know what they are like.

So, can you give me some good start up ideas?? like what I would need? Is a Indoor or outdoor arena better. Do I NEED a barn? How big of a pasture?? Anything else I should know???
I plan to start slow, adopting 1 TB and then selling, and if it does take off then I would be able to afford to build outbuildings and make a business out of it. If not then I will have lost nothing.

As for how much I ride, I ride 6 dayz a week and take lessons 2 times a week with my trainer. I plan to work along side my trainer so that we both can learn and ect...

I also own a TB x QH (he acts more like a TB though).
I have trained a 3 yr old horse before from scratch, breaking in with tack, lunging the whole shabang. So I would work alongside my trainer to assist me with my efforts. A training program would be established, a proper feeding program would be moniterd by my vet, a chiro and dentist would be visited by my TB's regularly. Everything would be properly planned out long before I rescue a OTTB.
