Starting campaign against fish bowls...?

I'm starting a campaign against fish bowls.
Please, if you don't know why fish bowls are bad, do NOT answer this question.

I have a couple questions that I need to know before embarking on my journey to help fishies.

1) Do you know anyone that's an aquarist or someone that I could contact. Not a friend you have or anyone, but if there's like an aquarium organization or something that I could interview.

2) Where are some places I could write letters to? I'm thinking about the Humane Society and possibly the ASPCA

3) What are some things other than writing letters that I could do for my campaign?

Several such petitions have been staged, usually to little or no success. The UK government initially banned bowls however unfortunately this ban was lifted.

The best places to start and a good way to get opinions and support include fishkeeping forums, there are literally dozens on the internet. However most self-respecting fishkeepers are against the use of bowls and starting the same debates over and over again is often pointless. Asking people to sign a global petition is the best thing to do nowadays, as fishkeepers we need to pile the pressure on governements and put the facts on the table to prove our point.

If you want names for a petition then these are good starting points:
