I just moved to a new place in the city with a personal backyard. There are three rows of soil for planting. I would like to get some flowers potted or bulbs planted to bloom this summer. What types of bulbs or plants should I get that will grow quickly (ideally in a few weeks for summer 2010) if cared for? I know that gardening takes time and patience, but I am only living here for one year and would like the backyard for entertaining guests soon. Any suggestions on which types of bulbs or plants to get for the summertime would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
