I have been working my employer for some 5 years, my father is the MD in the UK branch of the parent company.
I have been looking for new suppliers for the items we sell for some time, so I have done a lot of market research on the products, and have been considering setting up my own new company.
About a week or two ago, I came across a very reputable company offering me these items for a rather good price, so good I am now seriously considering setting up my own company.
However, I would need to work for my existing employer while setting up the company. Also, my father has said he will place orders with myself instead of my current employers parent company.
I feel this maybe seen as slightly dodgy - what do you think?
Working for the company, I will be supplying - is that legal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
