Whats up everybody im starting a new job tomorrow with cricket. I was talking to the guy there about flashing the phones with new software and he said he has a kyocera remix he wanted me to show him how to flash it cuz he dont know how. i have the prl file but what program do i use for the remix and how would i know if its locked? please help i want to make a good impression thanks for any help.
 
If you are starting a new job @ cricket, I really woulnd't brag that you can flash phones just yet (trust me on this) by the way what market are you in? maybe you can show me :)
 
why isnt it a good idea to let them know i can flash the phones? and im in san antonio, tx by the way. the place i got the job is just a dealer not a real cricket store though. so can anyone tell me what programs to flash the cdma phones with? also any help on unlocking them would be cool too. i couldnt find it when i searched. superstar maybe u could get me in at a corporate cricket store?
 
Oh you work for a dealer,, yea ok, its good that you can flash phones the can use flashed phones now :) I was just giving you a hard time about flashing the phone. If you want to work for a corporate store just apply online. www.mycricket.com, or tell your IAM when he comes to visit your store that you would like to work for a Direct store and what do you need to do.
 
ok i already did apply online and i went to the direct store and tried talking to one of the managers but he said id need to talk to the main guy in charge but i havent seen him there lately. would it be a good idea to go back again when i see the guy there? also is it illegal to unlock phones as far as you know of?
 
nope, not illegal to unlock, or flash phones... However, depending on what software you are using and how you aquired it, there is potential for legal issues there. but only if you get caught ;)
 
ok i was thinking of doing this here where i live and i wanted to know if you could tell me the steps i should take to do this right. everything i use i found on forums. i dont know what software is ok to use or anything also im looking to get phones and accessories at good wholesale prices if anyone can help id appreciate it. thanks.
 
in terms of getting a job with cricket, I would recommend applying online and talking with the RBM of the store, if they are not in, its all good, but either way you need to apply online :)
