I am interested in starting a residential drafting and design business. I have 4 years experience in the field, another 4 years working as a carpenter with an associates in drafting and design. I am also working on a bachelors in construction engineering technology. I would offer design services as well as construction, framing siding on small remodels or additions. What are the chances I will fail or succeed? Is the housing market recovering? Am I experienced enough for this? Any info?
