*real answers only please* * Dont post just to get a point unless you know what you are talking about*

Well i took the 4 bolts out of the bottom... 2 were really hard to get to but I got them! I then took the nut off of the top by opening up the trap door under the drivers seat. I am following the chilton book and it said after that it should come out... well its not >.<

Ive tried wiggling it free for almost and hour and even stuck a flat head screw driver in between the metal plates to try and pry it out, it moves but it just wont come out.

Am i missing a bolt? any other suggestions?

*please only answer if you know what you are talking about*
I'm positive i took out all the right bolts but it just seems to be stuck connected near the top.

Is it safe to reconnect the power to it and turn the switch?

These sites have some info, not much but it may give you something additional to check:

This one's for a 1992, might be the same or similar:

Activate the starter switch. If all the bolts are out that will make the starter knock itself loose. Check again first to make sure there are no bolts left in place, and that the four you took out are the four that hold the starter, not the transmission on the block.
