Starter solenoid on 1980 Jeep 6cyl/auto pickup?

I have a 1980 Jeep pickup with a straight 6/automatic and it has the Ford type solenoid on the fender well. I went to replace it with one I bought from the starter shop and the old one is unique. It has the two large lugs for the battery and the starter with two small ones on top but also has one underneath for a total of 5 lugs, two big and three small. What is the one on the bottom for if anyone knows? The top ones are made with threads for push on or screw on terminals but the bottom is for push-on only. Any clue what it goes too and can a two terminal solenoid be used effectively? I've been told the neutral-safety switch.
 
Are you talking about the starter relay switch?
Was there a wire already hooked up to it?
If there was not a wire hooked up to it maybe who ever worked on it before put the wrong one on.If there was a wire hooked to it then you may need to take the old part in and match it
